As a beginner I felt parts of it were challenging. I still struggle with half moon and warrior three. I took my own variations using a table for balance and powered through. It was well worth it! Challenging, quick and revitalizing!

I really enjoyed Alexa’s class— it is well put together and balanced, and her instructions are clear and easy to follow. I do have one complaint: her counting was frustrating to me, as it did not seem to be attached to any unit of time or to be consistent. I would prefer either counting when it is either regular and reliable (e.g. “5 more seconds... 4... 3... 2... 1), or no numbers attached at all (“Hold this pose a bit longer... almost there... okay, back to vinyasa). The counting in this felt whimsical and unreliable (“Hold for 3.............2..................???.............. and 1). Perhaps that was an intentional decision and instruction style, but for me it turned an otherwise wonderful practice into one where I questioned my instructor’s reliability. Overall, the class was still excellent, and well-deserving of a thumbs-up. Thank you for the class, and for the opportunity to provide my (subjective) feedback.

I loved this class! It would be great if you could do one very similar to this style of power yoga with a few more full salutations, so we can fully feel the stretch we’re cultivating. Thank you!

Great class. Liked the combination of slow pacing but intensity of holds. Also appreciate the lack of forward folds as I have a back injury that makes most flow classes difficult.

Wow, Alexa! You are so very good at articulating how to get the most out of the yoga poses. This practice rocked me and made me feel my power. It was one of the first times I have been able to connect long breaths in and out to help me hold poses. I greatly appreciate how you allow a minute of silence at the end of practice for shavasana. It is difficult to find an audio practice that makes time for this oh so important piece. Much love.

The way she describes what you should be doing throughout the practise is so clear and smooth flowing. I also enjoyed her breathing reminders and also to remember our set intentions, as it easily slips your mind.
