Shiva Mantra
Happiness Meditation w/ Peter Walters
You asked for it, so here it is! Shiva is a Hindu deity that represents change and destruction. Sometimes people shy away from this, but really change is the only constant in life. Mantra, most simply means 'mind training.' By focusing the mind on this phrase (and really ANY phrase), we allow the thinking mind to soften. We can begin to simply make a joyful noise. Chanting mantra is also a fantastic way to free your voice. We open the vishuda chakra -- the throat chakra, which is the center for communication. Are you ready? I'll sing the first line and you retreat it back to me. Ideally you're somewhere in public, maybe at work or on the bus so people will look at you funny! :-) Enjoy!

I usually do the mantra for Lord Ganesh, so almost forgot how awesome this one is. I hope you will do more mantras. How about Goddess Saraswati because who couldn’t use a blessing of a little more wisdom? A guided “om” mantra would be cool too. Namaste🙏🏽
