Twist & Breathe
Vinyasa Yoga w/ Kilty Inafuku
This is a practice where we work to lengthen and rotate the spine. We take moments to pause and breathe both in the twist and out of the twist so that there's an awareness of where the breath can feel restricted and limited OR free and easeful.

Equipment

  • Mat
    Yoga Mat

At a glance

Start with warm up movements in side body stretches, hip opening, and abdominal work. Continue with salutations. Peak with some standing twists in crescent and chair (option for arm balancing and inversions, too). Then we wind down with some seated and supine work.

This is the first time I tried this flow. And it was after a stressful day with no exercise, which is very rare. So I wasn’t in a good frame of mind. I was tense. After this nice flow I’m happy, calm and reflective. Thank you Kilty! This makes me want to start every morning with a Kilty practice.
